It do be like that sometimes

Would curious to hear other’s opinion on this as well. I have pivoted a lot towards cloud and data but still tech related. I would be interested to move towards strategy related. I come from the UK where I use to do more implementation. In the US we focus more on assess and design, so more business re design. I am thinking to leverage this to my next move. Would be curious what others think.
Interested in knowing how you pivoted to cloud and data from SAP. This is something that ive been trying to do for a while now. Are you a consultant or manager?
One way would be MBA -> MBB. The other would be to make a lateral move to strategy team at your firm. As PwC1 stated, we get more opportunities at this firm to work in MC projects.
My opinion about the differences with SAP, MC work involves several hours wasted in improving a ppt deck. There are so many variables of unknown, with most MC projects I have worked on.
The satisfaction varies from person to person. Some enjoy long hours with ppt deck , while some enjoy implementation aspects of SAP.
It is possible but not easy. Most SAP people are marked as tech people in many consulting companies. And most recently, they are viewed as legacy technologists with Cloud work on the rise. The best approach is go up in levels in leadership roles and switch to SC/MC like work. Or, move to a company that does not do bottom of the V in SAP.
