Anyone move from audit to an economic consulting position or less finance focused consulting role?

I just had a first round interview with HR. It’s a large company with tons of reviews about what the interview process so I expected to get behavioral questions. In reality the person spent the first 10 minutes explaining what the role is not. They could not answer specific questions about the role and only asked me two specific questions about my current job and 1 behavioral question and then went into salary/benefits. Is it typical to still go over salary if they don’t expect to move forward?

I'm inerested in moving into a pre sales role. Would anyone who works in this be willing to talk about the day to day aspects of the role?

I’ve been in my role for roughly three months and do not find the work to be interesting; looking to lateral to a different niche. However, how does this look in the eyes of a recruiter or a prospective employer? Im putting my 2 weeks notice in about 2 weeks. Then I’m taking 2 weeks in between jobs for a family wedding and some traveling, and will begin my new job in August.

Been staying in Alexandria for 3 years and know the area well. Going for a tour of a townhouse via Redfin agents. Are they good ? Or should I start finding a traditional agent .

Friends have been tellling that Traditional agents are buyer agents and they will make sure Home is in good condition before you buy i.e keep buyers interest in mind.

My take is that I would rather have an independent home inspection rather than getting it arranged from the traditional agent or sellers agent.

How does one gain clarity about what to do with their career? I’m a tax manager, love client relations, business development, training/managing staff, recruiting, etc., but feel like the amount of technical work I have to do yet makes it hard to be successful in the areas I enjoy.
