Why are people so hesitant to hire disabled candidates?

I am a visually impaired practitioner in South Africa, with 7 years of experience, and as soon as recruiters or business owners hear/read that I'm disabled, the conversation gets awkward and I never hear from them again.

Well, one thing about living in the city is that you can easily spot the flaws of any TV in New York City and laugh abt it. This New TV show Manifest, the girl was in suburbs queens deciding to go to another surburb in queens but she’s biking all the way via Manhattan (bc of the Empire State Building) 😂 😂
