Is it okay to list different roles within the same company as separate position/titles on LinkedIn?
Currently interviewing for a Manager role at Deloitte in their CBO/OT - Payments team. My next interview is with 3 practitioners (40min each) to discuss role and fitness. Has anyone gone through a similar interview process with D recently? Or if you’re an SM/Partner, mind sharing the interview process at this stage?
Is it okay to apply for another role with a company when already in interview process? Finished onsite for a FAANG role and recruiter mentioned I had positive feedback, but they are interviewing other folks before deciding and might take another couple of weeks. I saw another opportunity that aligns well with my experience posted. Should I go ahead and apply because this one might not come through? Or better to wait till I hear a Yes/No
Alvarez & Marsal fish - submitted an online application for a Director Cost Optimization and Manager PEPI role, chances of hearing back?
Anyone from Genpact? Need a referral TIA
So a coworker friend overheard our department head discussing the budget for our position. Safe to say we are both grossly underpaid—her a lot more than me (a man), but even the difference for me is quite large (10k). Any advice on how to proceed?
Has anyone ever worked with OOH agency Encompass Media? www.emgmediainc.com. thinking of hiring them for a campaign. Thx
I know M&A has a terrible rep, but if there’s anyone who enjoys it (or at least doesn’t completely hate it), could you please say what you like about the practice? Interviewing for an M&A position and really do want to love the job, at least for a year. FYI, I’m retooling from lit, and no, staying at my current firm isn’t an option.
Recently transferred internally (tech industry) to a new role in the analytics team to focus >90% on analysis due to previous role being 50% ops. Now in my new role, the person who was responsible for ops just left and now I have both roles under my scope. How soon can I start looking for exit ops? Assuming I’ve been at the company for 4 years and new team just 2 months. Transfer process took previous team going to bat for me, leadership approval, etc. Looking to avoid burning bridges.
Anyone know of any senior strategy openings? Just got laid off and would greatly appreciate any leads.
Planning to switch companies but I'm currently in a consulting position on the bench. I'm worried if I give 2 weeks notice that I'll be let go immediately since I have nothing to transition, but I also don't want to screw over my current company by getting assigned to a project then leaving without notice. Am I just paranoid?
Hello! I have an inital call with HR coming up for a non-technical program manager role and I’m anticipating the expected total comp question. I’m coming from a non-tech background so I’m not sure what would be reasonable. Not sure what L level this role would be (it’s titled just Program Manager). Role would be in the Bay Area (currently live in DC). I’ve got 10 YOE, mostly in the government (3 in consulting). Any insight would be helpful!
Hi Folks, What's reviews of Publicis Sapient. Like work culture and if there is hiring firing culture I am from ETL background and knowledge of Hive and basic spark and I will be working on cloud(attended training only, consider near to no knowledge) and spark development. Will you suggest me to join there? Technology stack may be good for me but it will be new & challenging for me. I am scared to join there because of job security and work life balance can be dying ( I can stretch not daily?
Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.
I want to work in a data analytics role but I'm worried that if I switch to another firm they'll just staff me on more IA projects, my background. Should I switch to industry first to get skilled?
I went T2>MBB and am thinking of going back to T2 because I prefer to aim for partner (MBB is not sustainable for me) rather than taking industry exit... Is this a dumb move? I’ll be dropping pay slightly but with better working hours one step below partner vs industry at ‘head of’ level...
What are the exit ops like for EY FAAS?
What would you rather do? 1. Stretch role in workstrea that doesn’t align with interests. More autonomy, responsibility and closer with team 2. Role doing grunt work, build relevant technical skills
Few years back, I heard from the inside Ogilvy Chicago and VSA formed an anti-poaching agreement to not hire each other's talent. I said nothing, taking no chance getting my source fired. Illegal?
Black (Stone vs Rock), which one has better exit ops for technical manager role. What’s the bonus potential?
I’m interviewing for a role that is open to both remote and in-office (when it’s safe) work. Should I give salary expectations based on cost of living in the city where the office is located or based on where I’d live working remotely? Cost of living in the office location is a lot higher than where I’d live but since they are also considering in-person candidates, I know the budget is there.
Am thinking abt moving to Australia. What's it like moving over there and finding a job? If I can't get anything, I'll do the backpacker visa. Best agencies in Melbourne?
What is the average salary of a Deloitte Human Capital consultant in the Northeast Region with 2 to 3 ratings?
Am I getting ripped off? Suburban Philadelphia, firm is ~200 attorneys across all offices but ~40 at my location, required billables are 2,040 minimum. Salary is $70,000.
Thinking about quitting for an industry role. How much of a payrise should I ask for at the start of the negotiation with new employer? How large is negotiation figure vs. actual rise I am aiming for?
I am about to get an offer from Infosys for Salesforce role. Total experience 11.6 yrs. Currect fixed CTC is 17.3 lakhs. How much can i expect from Infosys.?
Not nearly enough messages. Was a senior when I had a kid...so nice of KPMG to NOT tell me the way to properly submit for parental leave back in the day.
I’ve often heard of people with mental health issues struggling with personal hygiene. Has anyone done the opposite of that? I shower up to 2 hours a day (2-4 showers), and am obsessive with oral hygiene. Kind of like washing away my feelings of guilt....
I took a new role in a digital transformation (IT consulting) boutique and I'm beyond confused on my first project. They know i do not understand this stuff, but aside from looking at these slides and google searching literally every client data request document, what can I do?
Everyday is Mother’s Day 🥰
Does anyone know if there is anything like short term disability coverage for mental health leave of absence from work?
How did you guys handle leaving an agency to go to another one? I plan to leave my current spot if I get the offer I’m interviewing for, but I have not given anyone the inclination that I’m looking for other roles. I’ve just started convos to see if it’s possible to get a raise or promotion in the near future, but no answers yet. Just don’t want to burn any bridges or blindside anyone. I’ve been around for about 10 months now
What is it like to work as a real estate lawyer? I’ve done 4 years of plaintiffs personal injury, I’d like to try something new. Don’t want billable hours. Any thoughts? (Also other types of law suggestions are welcome)
What are salaries 1 year out of undergrad at different firms in traditional strategy role? Wondering what market standard is
Is it normal to get basically zero feedback? Brand new associate working at a mid sized firm. Been there a few months now and firm is still WFH. I get a fairly consistent amount of work. But I send my work product off into the ether and typically hear nothing or very little back (even when I follow up). I’ve gotten same vague “good work” feedback but that’s about it. I’ve drafted memos to clients and some briefs that have been sent/submitted nearly verbatim, so I assume that’s a good sign.
Does anyone know of any agencies that have a decent amount of remote staff? I'd love to work for a cool shop (and am willing to travel a ton) but don't want to uproot completely.
Have 3 years industry experience doing full core system implementations (insurance). Moving to big 4 next month as SA (25 years old). Any tips on what to expect moving from industry to big 4?
