I am a skilled nursing facility biller and collector for Medicare & Insurance, my job can absolutely be remote but the company I work for refuses to allow employees to work remotely. I’ve been with this company for 10 years and am looking elsewhere to find the same position but remote so I can move out of state. Noticing that other companies don’t pay billers well, making me feel stuck. This job is a lot harder than people realize and feeling like I already don’t get paid enough. Any advice?

Currently in Private Equity (in India), have an offer to join the PE practice of MBB in SGP. What are the exit options like? Would it help if i stayed in India PE role for a few more years and then try to move or would gaining SEA experience help get me into a PE role in SGP in a few years? Anyone has decision paralysis when deciding whether to take a job offer? I'm a senior associate and got a job offer to move in house for the type of job I want at the type of company I want to work at. However, the benefits are bad (e.g., no paid maternity leave, etc.), so it probably would not be a forever job. Don't want to miss out on breaking into an in house role, but also don't want to have to find another job in a couple of years just to have paid maternity leave.

In theory, Agile is like being in a "union light"?

There's collective bargaining by the engineering team about what tasks they take on (Grooming / Sprint Planning ~ Contracts).
There's regular feedback and round tables to see how to improve things (Retros ~ Union meetings).

So I have been offered a job at multinational company as a Data Engg. It was a part of the hiring event, and literally got selected with a VERY VERY SIMPLE technical assessment, and a 45 minute interview.
