Anyone on here work at Facet Wealth? Sitting for CFP in Nov and came across a planner role that seems appealing on the surface. Would appreciate any thoughts from anyone who works/worked there. Feel free to DM.

My firm has worked with Facet to sell our small accounts to them for 1/yr worth of rev. They seem like they know what they’re doing. Personally, I’d try to find a boutique RIA with a need for planning, incentive comp opportunities, and growth opps w/potential to partner in the future (if you’re motivated by that). A ton of old advisors w no succession plan.

Had a friend who worked there on their sales team, very aggressive goals but compensated well. Base salary if I remember was around 60k with a 10k quarterly bonus if goals were hit. Plan (cfp) side I heard salary were around 120k but not sure how their incentives were like.

like

Thanks. Job posting for the planner role says 110k base + bonus, wondering if annual or quarterly. I think glassdoor had similar sentiment as your friend, however I don’t think planners have sales goals but some sort of contact goals with clients

A previous employer reached out and offered me a Senior Product Designer role with a 40% increase base salary. I am considering this, as I have been feeling under utilized at my current role + dealing with of uncertainty lately. But I would be forfeiting a lot of RSUs if I leave. I am in the middle of my vesting period (2/4 yrs), and this year alone would have 256 shares vesting (~$500 share price). The new role will come with shares, but at a small share price. Anyone had similar experience?
