In my current role, I have limited opportunities for career progression and promotions are based on years spent rather than personal achievements. The offer is %20 less in terms of salary compared to my current but this role offers professional growth opportunities and chance for abroad experience. Is it illogical to make the change?

Hi Everyone, I have been an HR Generalist for close to 7 years. I had good managers and poor managers in between. My VP once told me not to pursue my MBA because she would teach me everything she knew. She never did. I am currently going for my SHRM SCP. I really enjoy being a Generalist but I don’t know if I want to be an HR Manager. Any suggestions on other areas of HR I should consider?

Fish, need your help. 5th year doing leveraged finance at a V20 in NYC. I’m good at my job but I hate the practice area. Was a direct hire. Ideally, would want to pivot to ECVC but would take PE M&A in a pinch. Have 4 years of international (non-US law) M&A and 1 year of international (US law) capital markets experience. Is it impossible to retool now? Given that markets are hot will I have to drop years (already dropped the 4 years of international experience so not keen to drop more).

Post my MBA (Fin), I've been working in a bank as a Relationship Manager for over a year. I've realized majority of roles in banking are sales profiles (also less learnings and repetitive work) . I'd consider myself a good analyst rather than a salesperson.
Though I am doing decent in this role, feeling out of place here. Could you please suggest some profiles in banking industry where I would be able to use my financial knowledge, analytical skills and learn something new.

I have got an offer from Accenture for Level8. I was 60% matching for the profile and got selected through saying there no project currently for this role, we are taking in advance.
