Many who repatriate are lured by a vibrant startup scene in India that is drawing unprecedented capital from venture and private equity firms and is buoyed by an effervescent market for stocks. But they are also disenchanted with what they perceive as America’s bleak and hopeless immigration landscape, where the wait times for green cards are tortuously long, and the limits on launching startups for newcomers are highly restrictive.

Posted this question a few months ago and will very likely buy one next month for my wife’s birthday. Base on what I’ve heard, people who have one have no regrets and people that don’t have one basically provide the argument that you can make your own cheaper version (I.e. buy a spin bike and download a few different apps available). So my thinking is that it’s worth it to me to pay for the premium that is peloton and just get what we want instead of making something else work that gets us even most of the way there.
I’m hooked, plan to buy one after I move. The ease factor does it for me. Hop on, hop off and shower in under an hour. Love classes but also love saving time
Don’t own one but my gym has one. If you’re into spin classes model out the ROI of the purchase compared to what you pay for with classes. If you do buy it, make a commitment to not go to classes if achieving ROI is a goal. Personally, classes are great but for me nothing beats in person.
I have one and it’s amazing. Life changing.
I want to get one and agree with the post above. It’s way more cost effective than going to flywheel and you get the competitive part but not the sweaty people around you.
Admittedly, it will be my first purchase when I switch consulting gigs in a few months.
My apartment has one, I really like it. I have the app on my phone and I track my workouts/stats. I also like it bc it's not just cycling but they have treadmill workouts (similar to Barrys Bootcamp/Orange Theory) and weight lifting vids. When we first got it I was on it often bc if the novelty, I don't use it as much now, but when I do I get a good workout.
Same - made the plunge recently and don’t regret it one bit. The time savings along do it for me especially on weekends and juggling family commitments/kids.
