I’m leasing a Giulia, love the car. Prior cars owned include Q50 red sport 400, Mx-5, e46 bmw. I leased a Stelvio before and loved that too. Just get a 2 year lease, then you won’t need to pay maintenance (tires too) at all. No issues with either my Stelvio or Giulia. I drove the new 3 series, and it felt like a Toyota Camry in comparison. Call around and you can probably lease one for the same price as a Honda Accord.
I may be bmw biased and currently leasing the g20 lol. Briefly drove my friends giulia but not enough to compare, great car though
Maintenance is truly something you'd want to consider before owning one of these.
The wait times at service sometimes can become longer and expensive since the non traditional parts whose stock they don't readily have available, have to be shipped from Italy if I'm not mistaken and when you push to expedite, they pass on the expected shipping cost also onto the customer.
But the car is an absolute pleasure to drive....
Transmissions, it’s not non-traditional, but dealerships don’t stock 5-10k parts
If you are considering a $50k car and are worried about maintenance costs, you can't afford a $50k car.
Buy something cheaper.
I’m looking at either a used CPO within 1-3 years or a 3 year lease. CPOs run around $24-35K, leasing sans insurance costs etc would be $380/month for 3 years plus $3-8K down. Hardly $50K 😂
