Interviewing with a startup right now. I want to clarify the salary range prior to having further discussions, but don’t have a clue on what’s an acceptable range for the position / industry. How do I go about it if the recruiter wants me to share my expectations first?

So my last bowl was me dragging. Come to find out I had to go to an emergency room and find out the pain in my heart was a blood pressure of 180/115 and my blood sugar spiked. Doc asks me if I’m stressed. I told her I’m a teacher. No explanation needed. But I’ll be damned if I let a job affect me like this. I just can’t leave because of you know, quarantine, and good jobs just aren’t plentiful. $750 emergency room bill to find out I’m stressed and not dying from a heart attack.

Can you pls help me with he overview of the organisation.. how is LTI for experienced hires ? How is work culture, yearly hikes ? Will they give 100% variable pay?

Is it ok for an agency to bring you on as a freelancer and not guarantee any hours per week? Recruiter said they can’t commit to any hours since this is a new client. Has anyone come across this?

I’m relatively new to freelancing so I need advice on how to handle a situation. A client agreed to give me feedback on a project Monday so I can make a delivery by Tuesday. I never heard back Monday morning so I sent a follow up email Monday afternoon and still never heard back. Is it still assumed that I would have a Tuesday delivery? Should I send a second follow up? I don’t want to lose this repeat client.
