Getting married in December. Looking at flights. Which flight did your roomie take? Does he or she plan to fly back? I am also looking to fly from ewr
Follow - i am travelling soon.
Yup, I flew United
First of all Congratulations!
Secondly do you have any Visa stamping requirement ? Also if your fiancé is also an Indian - make sure her visa things are squared as well.
Consulates are closed till March ‘21 for in face appointment and you may never know if the temporary ban may get extended. Which may leave you stranded.
Quarantining when you land in india is also something that you need to take care of - right now if you don’t want to quarantine in an hotel you need a negative COVID test result (72-96 hours before you land).
But as a safety precaution and just a overall thought process, I’ll suggest do a hotel quarantine even if you get a negative COVID test just coz you never know what happens on the flight & you don’t want to unknowingly infect your parents and others in the process.
Hope this helps! Safe travels and congratulations!
Thanks EY2. Really helpful !
