I received a salary increase of 10k because I’ve been promoted to a Sr. Business analyst position. However, I’ve been looking at the market average for the position, and the offer sits very low compared to it (they offer 71K) I’ve been in the company for a year. It is greedy to ask for more? I have a PMP, business analytics certificate from Harvard school online, bachelors degree and 5 YOE. Company is mid size, and we are federal government consultants.

I’m a non-technical Director and would like to get more technical (I.e. programming, engineering)

Are there alternative programs to an MBA worth pursuing? Does it even make sense at my age (30)? Are there technical-leaning MBA programs or dual degrees?
