I use Facebook almost exclusively but probably not the way you are talking about. I use ads on Facebook to fill seminars that I do on SS and retirement planning. The demographics you can use are crazy and way more accurate than direct mail and you get estimates on the number of leads you can expect based on how many people would see your ads and whatnot. It’s incredibly accurate and has saved me boatloads over direct mail filling my seminars.
If you want info on how I use it shoot me an email at aaroncirksena@gmail.com I’ve had wirehouse guys and people from ed Jones and others do the same thing I do and they’ve had no issues with compliance or anything either.
Thanks
How much do you pay per month?
Did you use an agency to create your ad?
Sorry, it costs me roughly $1200-1500 to fill a night with 20+ prospects typically, sometimes less depending on location. I also do them at libraries sometimes to if I don’t feel like paying for dinners and then I know people are interested. Very little difference in the cost per registrants and still very good prospects from them.
Check with your compliance.
Where do you work?
Independent with a BD called summit brokerage
Yes I have someone that creates and monitors and optimizes the ads for me. He charges $650/month to do this but you can do as many events and use him as much each month as you like which is good for me because I do a lot of seminars usually 3 or 4 a month. I also have a wholesaler that fully covers this fee for me so all I pay for is my direct ad spend.
I haven’t had anyone that I’ve spoken with who’s tried it have any compliance issues at all. Basically if your compliance will allow you to use direct mail they will allow this because it’s the exact same, getting wording approved, and then a third party advertising the event to people. Just digital versus physical mail making it much more cost efficient.
LinkedIn premium is absolutely worth the money if you use it faithfully.
