OMG that was the hardest post to read. I have a new baby and an almost 4 year old and it really hit me hard too. 😔

I advise you not to listen to the “Do No Harm” podcast...was up all night worrying.

Pregnant with my second and stuck in a pandemic with no support system - this hits hard. It’s just a minute of anger from someone that could ruin a family. Sometimes there is only so much you could control and that feeling you can’t control sucks.

I am afraid to ask but can you share the thread.

It’s on Instagram and Facebook under Humans of New York. The latest story with a man named Gene and a woman named Tina. It’s a seven “story” thread so screen shots may be excessive

Yes! So sad.

I went and read it. I have a four month old and this shook me to my core.

Random question but do you let your kids hang out in your bedroom and use your master bath if applicable? My kids always seem to want to use our bathroom instead of theirs and my spouse doesn't care but I grew up with my parent's room basically being off limits and think I'd prefer it that way.

Today is my first day back at work (and first full day back in my physical office) after a few weeks off for parental leave. Needless to say, I am struggling to stay focused on anything other than wanting to go back home to my spouse and child. I know I shouldn't take an emotional temperature on day one, but it has been more difficult being back than I anticipated. Any tips for navigating the waters for the first day/week/month back?

Neighbor’s kid started practicing piano all day long. I support the learning but goddamn the kid sucks at it, and it’s hard listening to this trap house dubstep jazz all day long while I work, and I don’t want to wear my headphone all day as a solution. How to approach their parents? Can you even lower the volume of practicing piano?
