Looking to throw my friend an epic bachelorette party. Willing to fly, but no where too far. None of us are into the Vegas vibe, so Vegas or anything similar is out.

Been looking for a Human Resources Assistant/ Coordinating Position. I'm currently working as a part time Hr Assistant/Coordinator and part time Assistant Manager at my job. I've been applying for a few months for a full time HR Assistant/ HR Coordinator role and have had a few interviews. I have mainly been using indeed and LinkedIn to apply for jobs and I live in New Jersey. What advice can you give? What job boards do you think are best? I have my updated resume and cover letter if necessary.

Anyone at Amazon know salary ranges that are realistic? I’m moving to 2nd interview for technical Recruiter and I’m scared I lowballed myself. I don’t have technical recruiting experience BUT my corporate recruiting + marketing experience had them interested in me. Honestly it’s way more that I make now but I’m ready to finally not be behind in pay for what I’m doing.
Hello everyone! Does anyone who works at Deloitte know how the referral process works. I’m currently applying and I put that I applied bc of an employee referral, but I wasn’t asked to add a name.
How does your company share talent between divisions and other umbrella companies? This is a gap for my current company and I'm wondering what other companies do?
Is anyone on here working as a strategic talent advisor in their role? If so, what are some things you’re involved in from a day to day perspective? Do you feel that the role has a combo of both talent and HR duties? What are some pros and cons you face in this kind of role?
I am the only person that makes up our Recruiting team, for 3 years now— with 50 locations, 100+ ads on a monthly basis, 20+ new hire full cycle onboarding weekly— all done by me alone. I’m still making less than $50k a year. I’ve done SO much to help streamline the hiring process, saving time and money for the company, and myself. I need more than the 5% raise I was promised. How do I respectfully ask for that at my review? (mind you this increase would still have me below $50k annually)..
I have about 7 years in advertising account management and looking to change careers into recruiting (preferably corporate or tech recruiting) it’s challenging to switch careers but will I need to start from scratch? Or can I get away with recruiting jobs that require 2 years experience? I have a lot of transferable skills

Anyone have suggestions on a way to focus in on this market?
I've been going through layoff lists and LinkedIn but still struggling to find a decent volume of candidates.
Thank you in advance!
We are planning to implement a talent CRM and are currently piloting Gem and in discussions with Beamery. We use Greenhouse as ATS. Anyone have experience with either CRM, any recommendations?
What are some strategies or tactics you have developed which are very successful in small markets (I'm talking SUPER small)? I feel like I've thrown all my darts and some markets still can't find talent.
Some things I've tried, here in Canada:
- non-profit/employment centers
- indeed headunting
- getting field/hiring managers to post around town
- getting on local FB groups
- local schools if there are any
- physical posters
- newspaper/old media (not great)
Ideas needed 😭
Curious to know what technical recruiters 10+ years of experience are making in Austin Texas?
I was recently asked to apply for a company who offers commission. The role would be for technical recruiting. Can anyone explain how it works and their experience with it?
I’m currently working with a senior level HR candidate. This individual has a doctorate in business with a focus in HR, her SPHR, Federal, and private sector experience at the singer level, and has a fabulous personality. I’m curious is anyone else having difficulties play some candidates like this? At this point I’m starting to think it’s racial or her sex based of the lack of interest in this candidate. Any thoughts?
As I think about looking for a new job outside of recruitment, how do you reconcile leaving commission behind? I make 50k base but over 6 figs in commission within my first year, and I WFH. I’m still “early” career with only recruitment and admin work history, and it appears that any job I’d qualify for is realistically 45-70k.
*I’ll stay for the money, but I’m wondering if it’s worth it in face of the lack of management, their disciplinarian mindset, and the non-stop stress from it all.
Any recruiters here that work for Amazon? I have an interview coming up and was looking to see if anyone knew the range for a technical diversity recruiter? Thanks in advance
I am looking for a Senior Director or a VP of Recruiting role for a healthcare organization. Must have proven healthcare success! Contact me for more information.
How do you all deal with the large number of LinkedIn requests from candidates that want to chat 1:1 when you are not the right recruiter for the position. As you can see, I work for a very large company with many divisions. I don’t know many other recruiters outside of the bubble of my greater team. I want to be helpful, but I have no insight to the role or know the recruiters for those roles. Do you think it’s okay to give them the correct recruiter’s name?
Any Microsoft recruiters know if hiring has slowed down or stopped for the recruiter roles? Also, would anyone be willing to give me a referral?
