@Op alright dude, love your sassy comments. Here is what I’m saying is that asking this question is stupid, because literally the processing time/acceptance is different for every single applicant. There are no trends per country or anything like that. For reference I spent 4.5 years working at the State Department in Consular Affairs

Hi, OPT question for folks. My student visa expires in December (EAD expiresin first week of January). I will be enrolling in day 1 CPT college but was told I don’t need to go back to hone country to get my visa stamp on passport. My concern is will this affect me down the road if I apply for green card let’s say in 4 years. Because my passport does not have a valid visa after this year but I will still be staying in the USA under my masters I-20. Thanks!

I don't think I'm super amazing at my job, but I'm also not so bad that I would be fired. I'm just..average and I haven't been able to get to that rockstar level. The issue is obviously me, I don't really grasp certain areas and I am decent but not great at client relationship. Assuming that my team, work life balance, and salary is decent, is this a sign that this isn't for me? Been in agency world for a while in a few different roles and I feel like I've just been average in all of them..

Promotions reduced due to covid and found out I’m being held back on my senior promotion (Canada). I’ve been on the fence about leaving for a while, and this may be it. Do you think it makes sense to take my accounting experience over to an FP&A role in terms of transferability? I feel like a lot of the analysis and excel / ppt skills transfer over, but it is a lit of tax knowledge to just leave behind. I don’t care a ton about tax subject matter though
