Debating taking a Leave of Absence due to mental health and would appreciate some opinions. Pretty sure I have severe depression, some of which stemming from work. Performance on current project has been impacted by my mental health - think I’d be let go after returning from a LoA bc of it. Either I take a LoA now and focus on looking for new jobs or ride out current project until I can find a new job.

What’s a solid cold email template you use when reaching out to a role your are interested in ?
A colleague shared with me the presentation they have prepared for their promotion case. I worked with them on multiple projects during the year and I can clearly see that some of the claims on the deck are wild exaggeration or lies. For example, managed changes in scope for Project X including contract changes. Plot twist: there never was a change of scope for Project X and the contract is exactly the same. How can people be so dishonest? How far can you go before truth catching up?
here's my prediction. If Biden wins, the media will begin to message the following; -The worst COVID risks and outcomes are to people with identifiable risk factors such as obesity and diabetes. -Most other people who catch it will experience a bad flu. -Many other people who catch it won't even know they have it. -It's not commonly transmitted by touching objects and person to person transmittal is low risk except in close contact. The media will then message that we should; (cont'd)
Will there be a salary bubble like the housing bubble? Hearing how much people with 2-7 yrs experience are getting offered to move companies is blowing my mind. At some point this is not going to be sustainable and salaries will drop back down to reality. However, I am concerned that all of those folks with inflated salaries will get in situations they can’t support after the correction. Then what happens?
