I think it’s because the big story here is the long time global CSO is leaving, prompting the promotion of his replacement who happens to be a POC. If the replacement were another white dude it wouldn’t seem all that odd. But it would be great to feature the POC in a separate standalone article that focuses on him tho.

I don’t see an issue. It seems to be the outline/flow of the article about who is leaving then leading to who is taking over. If there was limited or omission of the POC then maybe there is an issue.

Either I take a LoA now and focus on looking for new jobs or ride out current project until I can find a new job.

A colleague shared with me the presentation they have prepared for their promotion case. I worked with them on multiple projects during the year and I can clearly see that some of the claims on the deck are wild exaggeration or lies. For example, managed changes in scope for Project X including contract changes. Plot twist: there never was a change of scope for Project X and the contract is exactly the same. How can people be so dishonest? How far can you go before truth catching up?

here's my prediction. If Biden wins, the media will begin to message the following; -The worst COVID risks and outcomes are to people with identifiable risk factors such as obesity and diabetes. -Most other people who catch it will experience a bad flu. -Many other people who catch it won't even know they have it. -It's not commonly transmitted by touching objects and person to person transmittal is low risk except in close contact. The media will then message that we should; (cont'd)

Will there be a salary bubble like the housing bubble? Hearing how much people with 2-7 yrs experience are getting offered to move companies is blowing my mind. At some point this is not going to be sustainable and salaries will drop back down to reality. However, I am concerned that all of those folks with inflated salaries will get in situations they can’t support after the correction. Then what happens?
