Anyone struggle with lowering cholesterol? High cholesterol runs in my family (both sides) and while I workout 5-6x/week, don’t do takeout and try to eat somewhat healthy - my cholesterol is still through the roof. (My parents have struggled w HC all their lives and while they eat small and mindfully healthy, they still have to take medication to be borderline). Anything helps! TIA

Well I did a very bad thing... we found out this week my husband’s father has an aggressive terminal cancer. My father in law doesn’t want to tell anyone and I am supposed to not say anything. The only reason I know is because we live with him. When I was speaking to my mom on the phone I burst out crying and had to tell her, and I had another burst out crying event where I told a friend. I've never done a spin class but everyone I know loves their Peloton. What’s the best low calorie, high protein snack?

Background- In quarantine I’ve been intermittent fasting &calorie counting for a few months, and still working out in the mornings. My workout has usually been a 3-4 mile run and I’ve definitely gotten leaner but I’m now trying to add in more strength training, and so I feel like I should be getting protein after my workouts.

Any advice on where to go from here appreciated too!

Does anyone actually wake up refreshed and if so can you share your secrets? It doesn’t matter how much or how little sleep I get I wake up feeling like I got hit by a train. I run 3-4x per week and have lost ~20lbs in the past few months so I should be getting enough vitamin D and have a healthy diet. Don’t drink coffee or other caffeine (unless herbal tea on occasion counts). I wear an eye mask to block out light. Tried melatonin but it gave me nightmares. I feel like I’m losing hope on sleep
