Anyone taking or have taken a large position in SPG or any other REIT funds? Dividend yield is too good, though it will be cut temporarily, long term potential is pretty sweet.
Any REIT experts here?

Pk. I've made about 20%.

Eventually the malls will come back. So SPG will be a long term play. It is also going to be volatile in the short term.

I have a friend in the Federal government that just got an offer for a VP position at a private firm with a guranteed 30% raise immediately, with a path to promote in one year to senior VP with an extra raise of 20%. So net 50%+ more than they are making now. However, they have 14 years of fed service, and are 6 years away from pension. How do they calculate how much they would need to make from this new job to give up the 6 years till pension?

I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. I am extremely over qualified for the position but it could possibly be a stepping stone and gives me the time to acquire SHRM certifications and possibly start taking classes to get my MBA. My question is those currently in an HR role, would this move make sense to you?
