Does anyone have experience with Ben Glass’s “Great Legal Marketing” programs? https://greatlegalmarketing.com
I ordered a free “starter kit” from his company and received a decent-sized box with some books and audio CD’s. Haven’t listened to the CD’s yet, but the books aren’t bad, with plenty of practical advice.
Now he’s running a promotion where you can get two months of his basic-level course for just $19.95 to cover the cost of shipping. It seems that Ben is one of the better-regarded legal marketing “gurus” out there.

Looking for career advice!
Im a new starter in FDD as a Senior, qualified and am sitting for CFA L2. I want to make sure I'm doing everything right to maximise my chances of landing a FO role in a PE/Fund or ER/M&A role at an BB/EB.
A few I've heard so far:
- Get infra deals exp
- Network aggressively
- Leave within 1 yr
JPMorgan Chase Morgan Stanley Goldman Sachs Citi Bank of America Barclays Credit Suisse RBC KKR Blackstone TPG Apollo Global Management, LLC Bain Capital Warburg Pincus

I transferred internally at Deloitte and FDD paid my bonus instead of audit after being in the group like 4 months
Same here at PwC.
In the same boat, would love to know what happens

You have to work 9 months in a group to qualify for a bonus so you will get 0 for audit and FDD
I've seen prorated bonuses for those who join mid year. That's usually closer to 6 months though.
I don't think you'll receive 0 VC but you'll likely be on the low end, if not below the communicated ranges.
Reason being, VC comes out of the groups pool of funds. You're competing against staff who have worked crazy hard and contributed all year in the group, so the higher bonus will go to experienced staff.
Would this be something that HR or your new PML are required to disclose before joining? I can’t see how that’s something you can just avoid mentioning? I’ve heard of the prorating from another transferee.
