How long do you stay on holiday leave for the holiday season?

I'm currently a healthcare/pharma PM but am looking to make a transition into climate science PM work. I have a strong background in the life sciences, but most postings for PMs in the climate sphere require quite a bit of experience (5 years). I’ve been telling my boss repeatedly for over a year that the workload I’m being given is infeasible by one person for xyz reasons, and I’ve offered abc solutions that have gone unheard. I get the same criticism every month, and I advocate for myself with reasons and solutions/resource requests each time. No changes, just disrespect. Today they’re presenting me with a PIP and I’m feeling so defeated. I know it’s time to look for a new job, but any advice on keeping my head up until then?

Need some advice! I put in my notice, and my boss told me to not tell my team yet and wait. It's now been a day and a half, I've sent a follow up, but nothing.
