Anyone think some roles in PA will go fully remote after this year? I’m hoping my role does. Curious what others think.

Interviewed recently with @VillageMD. Anyone have any insight about the remote Medical assistant positions? Preferably someone who does or did work in that type of position with this company. How was the workload? How much time is usually spent on the phone answering calls?

Current contract - amazing company that has been vocal about bringing me on when approved but no promises. Contract is $60/hr. I negotiated high due to paying private health ins at high $. I was offered a role at a different company for $105K with a $5K sign on and additional benefits. I expressed my need for a $115K base in our original conversation. Anything less than 115K is a paycut from current $ and if I was offered FTE at current contract. Thoughts on negotiating? I dont want to be greedy

New SM at a firm and asked to lead a difficult project with abrasive client that 6+ SMs before me have cycled through and all been rolled off. I don’t have much of a choice being new to the firm… or do I? My thought was to sell my own role elsewhere (have lots of relationships) but the freight train has left the station & being on boarded to the challenging environment instead. Tips aside from - just do it & prove them all wrong? Can’t phone it in because I’m new. Any advice is welcomed

Working on applications for academic positions (tenure-track), and finding it extremely difficult to write a research statement that is not too close to my current research that hiring faculty would think I lack originality, but also not too far-fetched/unrealistic or on topics that I find interesting but has insufficient knowledge/expertise.

Is it too much to ask a home health company for someone to shadow/orient? I was just hired PRN and that was something I asked for during the hiring process and the recruiter agreed. Never heard back and it’s been several weeks yet keep getting texts from the schedule if office to see patients. Is this typical for home health or a red flag? Just read an article about how the first doses of the vaccine will be doled out. Am I the only one who is really heartened by the global response to COVID-19?
