Anyone thinking of getting implants or have gotten breast implants I’m ridiculously scared of bad things happening

I have them. Nothing terrible happened per say. Recovery wasn’t bad. The main issues are the scarring and hard “fake” look, combined with the fact I have to maintain and replace them every ~10 years. I love the way my boobs look with clothes on. Unfortunately they don’t look so great once I take off my bra. Sadly, I couldn’t have predicted this and it’s a pretty common side effect that happens to about 1/3 of women. I’m still undecided on whether I would do it again.

I have implants I got last year. I understand your fears but you have to choose an extremely highly rated doctor even if that means spending double the usual rate. These doctors can charge that amount for a reason. What made me feel more comfortable also was knowing that breast augmentation is the most common plastic surgery and thousands of women do it every year. I’m really happy with my breast and I got the best result for my body. My breasts are naturally far apart so there was no way to create cleavage but the doctor did a fantastic job and they are shockingly natural looking even without clothes on despite how small my breasts were and how little breast tissue I had.

I just got mine two months ago and I love them. I actually did end up having a hematoma the day after and had to go back for emergency surgery to fix it (happens to less than 1% of people). Despite all that they are healing really well and already look pretty natural even without clothes. I was off pain meds the day after my second surgery and back to work after 4 days.

Choose a reputable doctor, even if it costs a few thousands more. I just got mine done last week and am healing well. They’re swollen but should subside and look more natural in a few weeks. Already made huge purchases on lingerie and new bras! My bf and I are very excited 😉

I have them and love them! Echo the reputable doctor and one who specializes in breasts. Find a doctor who also generally does the look you want, review their online galleries. Find one who can walk you through the right size and profile for your body type. Make sure the look you want is achievable with your natural breast shape.

I got mine a few years ago, and love them! I agree with all the others here, take your time to research the surgeons around your area (for as far as you're willing to travel). I probably over did it on the research, but it definitely put me at ease. I first narrowed down the surgeons in the area that had the best reviews (used multiple sources), checked their websites to see the jobs, then scheduled consultations. From there you'll know which doctor is right for you. Don't let anyone pressure you into anything either, make sure they actually listen to what you want and give you recommendations based on that. I'm not sure if it's a common thing, but I had to get a physical within a few weeks of my surgery and send the results to ensure my health, which further confirmed that I chose the right doctor. I got surgery on a Friday afternoon (worked the morning), it was pretty painful the first couple of days, but by Sunday night I was back to normal. Just be careful with movement for the first couple of weeks! 😬
