Anyone planning for MS in UK ?

Polling my fellow 🐠, would you consider speaking about your roles/project experiences to students who come from non-target universities for consulting? Not to act as a mentor or sponsor, but more for exposure to the industry that these schools lack.

I’m a LCSW, have been working in mental health for 10 years, and have a job that enables HRSA to pay off my student loans. I really want to go back to medical school to be a psychiatrist. I’d like to pay my student loans off before taking on more debt but worry I will be way too old to go back since I already feel way too old at 38 to do it. Has anyone over the age of 35 gone back to med school? What were your challenges? Was it worth it?

MS in Computer Science vs MS in Analytics

I should go study abroad this month, but I am extremely anxious, I’m not excited about my course and overall not ready. Should I take a break and go next year or just do it? I did not think through the course I picked and it is new to the university so I would be in the very first batch. It’s in data science which I know nothing about and don’t even know if I’ll enjoy it. I’m so stressed about what the course will be like and what my opportunities would look like.

I’m seeing some people get into Harvard and MIT MBAs with 0-2 years FT experience in random corporate banking, random sales operations role at a small tech company, etc. Am I missing something here?

At what age/ level of experience should one expect to do an mba?

Recently attended an interview from one of the top IT firms . I'd never seen any such worst process in any of my life .
Since I'd attended an interview long back i was surprised to receive this call and HR informed me that I'll be having a HR round and the day comes i joined the call ( literally they didn't even ask a single HR question and it was completely about TR) when I reached out to HR . I was told this was a TR + MR
Whose mistake is this ? wasn't their job to inform us properly about?

Articling in big law and getting sworn in soon. Got an in house offer at a big company, which pays more than big law and someone says they’re willing to mentor me. Wondering if I should make the jump? How hard would it be to go back to a law firm if I regret it. What i will be doing is very specific but also many other companies and law firms look for that., even though companies seem to outsource it less and less.

I went to my GE science teachers and asked for a comprehensive list of what is taught in biology in our GE classes. My goal is to take the main ideas and bring the concepts down to the level of my students to keep them moving at a similar rate. What is the best statement to make when you want to renegotiate the offer after calling the HR of company A, given that you have a better offer at hand from Company B but still willing to go with A as they are offering better role however you don't wanna miss out on prospects of better pay??

Incase the HR of company A completely decline to renegotiate can one still stock with company A?
