I am a loan officer in consumer lending, so finance auto loans, credit cards, HELOCs and personal loans for a top credit union.

My firm has offered to make me a partner if I am willing to relocate to San Francisco (currently in NYC). I’m in a support group, so partnership opportunities are difficult to come by and it sounds like if I decline I will be made counsel without much opportunity to be promoted.
