I do! Bought it day one and have been very happy with it. The games are far superior to iPad and the battery life hasn’t ever been an issue with me as either the flight is two hours or less or it’s longer and I have an outlet.

Incredibly satisfied. It is the consultants console. However, be wary that a large portion of the titles available are either indie games or ports. BOTW was worth the buy alone, though.

If you do get Zelda and Mario are both as good as advertised and Xenoblades is pretty great if you like RPGs.

like

All the time, it's the GOAT console

like

Idk, when a flight gets delayed and there's nothing to do for your project and it's 6 hours of sweet sweet airport time ahead of you.

I stopped working on airplanes about 2 years ago. Never going back

like

@EY1 order the right USB adapter cable on Amazon and just charge if with your travel charger. If you're lucky, it will also charge your phone :)

^Accenture1 thanks for the info

I do as well, just since September, tons of fun in the air.

I do as well, it's a great time killer for airports etc.

How do you guys find the time when traveling?

like

I do. Just don’t lose your charger. I miss my lost charger:(.

PwC1 I never work on planes. That’s my time to watch movies or play video games. When on client site or working from home I’m all about work and when I have time off at home I try to spend it with friends and family. I work enough, don’t need to work on planes.

like

I used to travel with my switch, but it’s pretty bulky all things considered. Especially when traveling with OTE headphones, etc. It is the GOAT travel console though, but I haven’t played anything new since Zelda so 🤷‍♂️

like

Yea I won't work while traveling either unless I have to. Movies, games, or a good book. Work is for the client site and the hotel if necessary.

like

I've got one. Killed so many hours in the air playing BOTW. Also picked up SMO, and downloaded SV. Great travel console.

like

thank you all, guys. I finally got a switch today.

I’m on the verge of getting an offer from a startup company that was acquired by a $2bn company. I make $70k & no bonus. The offer would be $105k base+10% bonus. To get to the TC the startup is offering, it would take 3-4 years in my DTE at Accenture. The title is 3 titles up from what I currently am. However, it’s a step down from a brand perspective and I’d mostly be working with older people vs. people my age. Thoughts? Opinions?

Exit opportunity suggestions for a tax manager? I currently earn $100K, but specialize in small to medium sized businesses in a smaller metro area. With zero experience in audit/internal control/GAAP/SEC/SOX/finance, I don’t see how I could possibly land a six figure position in industry (even remote positions from metros that pay more). With my health off the rails after nearly a decade in public accounting, I’m honestly starting to look even at positions in the $70s. Suggestions welcome.
