I'm in EY cyber practice. If anyone wants a referral in, email resume to EYCyberReferral@gmail.com
Hypothetically what sort of roles do you think a consultant could exit into at a pro sports team? Man, even doing corporate finance there would be so cool 😪
Requirements like "strong academic performance" and "target school preferred" make me wonder if I'm cut out for consulting. I just submitted an application for one firm where I had to change some of my employment dates because the application program couldn't fathom that I worked at two places *GASP* at the same time (overlapping start/end dates caused an error). I'll add some more context in a comment but...are there any other non-traditional professionals in this field? I'd love to hear your story.

Gotta love messed up Sunday work travel. Fml 🤦
Project is asking me to travel the week my wife is due to have a baby or else get an exemption from HR. Is this normal or is my firm just not supportive? KPMG if anyone is looking to join.
NY NYE club suggestions 🙃
Can't decide if I've won or lost? Frame it as a reminder, or drill a hole and attach to my bag to humble brag whilst traveling even more?
Anyone here with experience working at Tech giants and consulting firms want to provide some insights into culture, comp, wlb, interesting work, etc?
I obtained a Amex Cent card 7 years ago, considering dumping it but it's hard knowing I won't be offered it again. Am I an idiot wasting the fee?
How hard do you push interns? An intern told me that a task took 4 solid hours, which seemed very high for the output provided. I checked the file version history, and there are a few 30-60 min breaks, and 80% of the task was obviously done in the hour before a check-in deadline. How, and how harshly should I push them on this discrepancy? Before you ask, this was a data transformation task that happens 100% in the same file, with no need to Google, use other files, ask for help, etc.
