Yes, I use a number of these ideas. I actually use almost everything math idea galaxy makes. They are amazing and my classes love playing their games and I love how easy it is to prep using their materials. I wish I was half as talented coming up with ideas like they are. Their resources are comprehensive and bring a nice change to my classroom.

Math mazes are very in vogue at my school. It helps students to start recognizing reasonable answer ranges from the outset of a problem so they can narrow their choice of maze paths.

Yes,I have: Quick writes, Kahoot, Quizzes, and Whiteboard. I will have to try some of the others. I like them. thanks.

Does anyone have any tips for how to get an exclusively breastfed baby to take a bottle. My son is 5 months old and since he was 1 month old, I pumped maybe twice a week and gave him the bottle. From around 2 weeks ago, he refuses to drink the bottle, even when he is very hungry. I have tried different bottles and ensure the temperature is warm. The milk tastes normal (I tried a bit!). :/

My mom is going through a very bad situation with her previous employer who is not paying her her correct retirement benefits after screwing up their paperwork. She worked for a school district for about 15 years. She has a case but she is afraid it’s not high value enough to attract the attention of the attorney. School district is now ghosting her. If anyone has advice or interest, please let me know, thanks so much

The pressure at work has increasingly led to a strain on my mental health. I have allowed myself one too many times to prioritize the needs of others (clients, PPMDs, etc.) before my own and the price is showing in my inability to highly perform like once before. I’m at the point of not caring about anything any longer, even if that means risking my job. I’m not sure the reason I’m posting this—perhaps I’m seeking guidance or maybe I just needed to vent. Sigh…

Not comp related but a question on references: I’ve only had 2 direct managers, current one is nice but I can’t let him know I’m interviewing. Previous one was a bully and I made clear that I cut contact with him when I left (he later had to contact me for non-essential work related stuff but I declined to talk). I have other references I could use, but want to prep for situation when employers ask “why can’t we talk to your previous manager.” Thanks!
