I’ve been contemplating this. Have my license but haven’t done anything with it. Would love to hear if anyone else has experience doing this

My friend did this as a side hustle while at McKinsey and then tansitioned full time into being a realtor. Definitely doable but I imagine the hustle is real

Wow!! That’s really great for her!

If your day job gives you flexibility to handle clients on the way to closing- then yes. If it does not have flexibility for calls/inspections etc (unless you have a local partner for this) then it will be difficult.

Does anyone have resources or direct suggestions for bonus goals/metrics for the legal department? I crafted a mix of goals related to contract turn-around time being under a standard time, being within approved budget, and some other measurable spend related goals and was told by executive team the goals need to be more “quantifiable” (which is a stupid criticism since these are all quantifiable/objectively measurable). Looking for other suggestions.

Always been a fan of FIRE and reading about it has definitely helped my finances but I can’t help but wonder if the movement is more about lifestyle change than early retirement.

After you achieve FI,you basically have to maintain the lifestyle that got you there.

Heck, I have more friends than ever sitting with a household net worth of 10M at 35-40 not to mention all that boomer wealth transfer coming their way. How to plan?

What happened here? I refinanced my student loans in November 2019 and got a 10-year variable at ~2.5% pegged to LIBOR. When 2020 hit, LIBOR tanked and my interest rate went down to 0.75%. Looking at similar loans now, I can’t find anything close to this rate. Is this just a quirk of my original timing?
