I just signed up for talkspace because I’ve always wanted to try therapy but it never feels urgent enough or like I have enough time to go into an office to talk to someone. So far, I really like it. I didn’t realize how much I needed it until I signed up. I think it just depends on what kind of therapy works best for you. You can also try it for a month and cancel after if it doesn’t work for you
talkspace but was too pricey. tried to stay away from phone and social media to heal. what really helped; gardening, cactus are awesome. reading daisaku ikeda is so empowering, 200% more than a usual therapy sesh. aromatherapy and homeopathy also work. kava tea is my fave to deal with day to day stress and drama.

I tried BetterHelp. It was more of a hassle than going to my therapist. Cheaper, but I only lasted 2 months. My first BH therapist was terrible and missed appointments, so I complained and they set me up with another. A lot of wasted time. Setting up appointment times is awkward, and if your therapist cancels on you, good luck getting another appointment soon. I signed up over the holidays and only managed to have 2 video calls and few emails. The emails were a chore and took to long to write because I had to give them so much backstory in the beginning.
