Anyone used Wiley’s CPA Virtual Classroom Series? What are your thoughts & do you think it’s worth the $300 that they want for it? Studying for FAR (12.1.18) right now & need to maximize my efforts.

Uhh do yourself a favor and don’t do that unless you find this virtual classroom setting will help maximize your effort for FAR. In my opinion try NINJA CPA because it’s cheaper and as thorough.

Anyone else who feels that they want to step into the more analytical/executive/operational/financial side of business?

I feel that as a corporate lawyer, you’re mostly doing the necessary details to carry out someone else’s decisions (= EG the boring part of business). The most "strategic" advice you give is perhaps advising on a choice between transaction models.

Would only a law degree and big law transactional experience be sufficient to go into more traditional business roles?

Does anyone here have experience with consumer electronics, user guides, or packaging? I’ve been working with consumer electronics as a copywriter for about 3 years now. Totally unexpected (I was in nonprofits and freelancing before). Now I have a sweet in-house role with a tech company. I never hear of anyone else who does what I do. Also, if you do have a similar role as me, have you had roles at agencies? I kind of worry that my job is so niche that I’ll have trouble finding work one day.
