Anyone using European formulas? How do you manage on-the-go? I was buying ready-to-feed American formulas for when we are not at home but the baby is doing so much better on the European one now that I don't consider buying American ones anymore. The struggle is I cannot find the RTF version of Holle Goat Milk based formukq anywhere :(

Bring a bottle of distilled water and a baggie of formula

Makes sense. I guess I was obsessed with following the instruction on the label and prering the formula with 50°C water 😁 it's probably my ocd

This is for the old timers. Is teaching now harder than when you started? With experience jobs are supposed to become easier. However, I started teaching when we still used chalkboards and attendance was hung by my door. I feel all these advancements that have supposedly made life easier has made our jobs harder.

Hi, I’m currently on parental leave and interested in doing some minor side huddling like case coaching or college essay editing etc. Something consultants can do well and easily. Are there known websites/ forums to offer these services and get connected to clients?

(Parenting adjacent) How does anyone juggle a chronic illness with work and kids? I’ve already done a long leave of absence and dropped from partner track to staff attorney. But I miss about three days of work a month ill, plus doctor appointments and having two kids (9 and 10, one autistic). We moved in with my parents and brother so I have help, but I’m so tired. (Their father isn’t an option for support of any kind). Suggestions?

Just became dad of 2nd kid.Let's say if you have to pull diaper duty night shifts (12- 5 am) what would you take, drink to avoid extra fatigue. With my first one I could drink redbull and sleep in the noon. Now I am so exhausted by morning and sugar rush wears off after couple of hours. I am taking double dose of daily recommended b complex but not sure how safe is that for a month. Any thoughts or ways to deal with exhaustion.

Novice question - are formulas expensive - can someone give me a ballpark for a good organic formula? I am pregnant with my second and don’t think I can manage a toddler and go through breastfeeding with a new born all by myself. Also open to combo feeding ideas where I breast feed during the day and formula during the night if you have done something like that.

Mega backdoor Roth question, my employer allows this and currently on track to max out 401k/HSA/Roth IRA and also contribute regularly to a 529 plan and a taxable brokerage account. Would it make more sense to stop contributing to 529 and brokerage and instead put that full amount into mega backdoor? I have years of Roth IRA contributions to pull from if needed and another decade before first kid is in college. We have a cash emergency fund and would keep brokerage account just not add to it.

After baby was born, he continues to smoke multiple times a day and didn't have a problem with his family smoking in the house until I called him out and got into a huge fight. Hi EY and Fishes everywhere! I might be getting an offer to join tax as an S1 (or exp. assoc), probably not being able to start until mid August based off how the process has been. However, I currently work at a mid size firm and we’re already getting into busy season. How would it look if I asked EY to postpone my start date till after 10/15 and say that I’m not ready to be thrown into a Big 4 busy season and that I don’t want to leave my current firm out to dry. Thank you all so much! @EY
