Tofu, seitan, and tempeh are the big ones. Edamame or nuts as a snack and side. Occasional use of plant-based meat substitutes can be okay but you need to watch the sodium and they’re still very processed, but probably better than meat still overall.
This morning I’m having tofu scramble and potatoes with toast. Tomorrow I’m having Benevolent Bacon for breakfast. I’m having beyond sausage on the grill for lunch.
Rising Star
The beyond sausage on the grill was pretty good. Also want to shout out to Purple Carrot vegan meal ingredient delivery service. Making BBQ jackfruit sliders for dinner. Had an awesome “lobster roll” last week made with heart of palm.
Quinoa is a great source of protein!
The OWYN protein powder/drinks are my favorite thus far.
Tofu/seitan/tempeh are great protein sources in addition to things such as chickpeas. Specific items can do recs for too!
They’re good but filled with sunflower oil, which is terrible for you. Causes inflammation
Black beans and plantFusion Complete Meal.

Vegan here - use Orgain protein powder (20 g), tofu for lunch (22 g), seitan for dinner (20g), no cow protein bars (21 g) for snack. The key is that you add different spices to your food everyday so it’s different everyday and you don’t get bored. Also a lot of vegetables like spinach, broccoli have high protein content so try to incorporate those in your diet

Np. I know protein bars can be tricky but the macros fit in so well. Hmm I just get the multi flavor pack. Everyone likes different flavor. For instance, I liked the birthday cake flavor but my friend hated it. She liked some flavor that I thought was ok.
Also for protein powder check earth chimp. It’s sweetened beetroot powder and Monkfruit
If you are using milk alternatives, soy milk is the option with the highest source of protein. Good way to get some extra grams of protein

Yeah the claims about soy’s effect on men were disproven. There are no harmful effects to men from soy. Outdated garbage information.

Beans, lentils, nuts, and tofu are my go to protein sources!
Whole food wise, green veggies, legumes and nuts. Processed food wise, tempeh, tofu, seitan. Also, Ritual makes a great protein powder.

Not vegetarian or vegan, but I thought about both and how to handle protein needs.
Vegetarian: Easy with dairy products, some eat eggs which adds another great source. Additionally there are some plant based options, but they often come with a lot of carbs.
Vegan: plant based protein + likely requires protein supplements to manage bio availability / calories
Tofu in a garlic powder crumble baked 🤤
