If a recruiter tells you they are paying x on the initial call, how much above that is reasonable to throw out there when it comes time to negotiate?

Ive gained so much weight since quarantine started and feeling a bit hopeless. I’ve battled my weight for as long as I can remember but this is the most unhealthy I’ve ever felt. I also started noticing my neck change color (getting darker toward the bottom) and was reading up on google and now I think I have diabetes 😔. Hoping that’s not the case but curious has anyone experience the neck thing? Scheduling a doctor visit too.

I got offer from Client A for 137k base pay(total compensation=151k) complete remote. As I don’t have any other offers I accepted it. After two weeks I got another offer from Client B for 145k base, total compensation=175k) with hybrid model(2days in a week), client A already started H1 transfer process, might get approval in a day or 2. I wanted to go with Client B, but how I say this to client A. Client A start date=05/16, Client B start date=06/28. Can I join A and work 2months and t/f to B?

Have first round interviews for BCG in 2 weeks- already did the pymetrics. Should I go through all the case studies available as prep or is it too soon? Sounds like first round is a behavioral and online case study- no live case. Confident in my behavioral ability, but want to make sure I am prepared for online case. Any recommendations are helpful. Hi! I’m just barely starting prep for case interviews in hopes of having a pretty good grasp before I submit my applications for BCG, Guidehouse, and Deloitte in a couple weeks. I’m currently working my through Hacking the Case Interview site but am wondering what else I should be doing and what courses or coaching ya’ll suggest when your start from about ground zero.

Bachelors and Masters in Engineering.
B.S GPA - 3.0
M.S. GPA - 4.0 (No GMAT/GRE) same school
Studied at a specialized school for Aviation. Non target for Consulting.
