Hi. I am desperate to change jobs. I have two offer in hands: Deloitte Hyderbad on a contract basis with 15% hike and KPMG Bangalore FTE with 25% hike. I like Deloitte as a brand better.

I’m still open to sr cw positions (the work just isn’t good at current gig) so should I not update my LinkedIn? I don’t want to limit myself to acd positions b/c I don’t have a book that lives up to it yet. Will recruiters not reach out about sr jobs if I update to acd/ places not think I’m serious about sr jobs if I apply as an acd?

I’m expecting to go on maternity leave this summer, but I hate working at my current company. Has anyone actually looked at the math, calculated, and compared a freelance day rate of about 1-1.2k, booked for whatever % of the year, versus a full time staff salary of say, 200k… at what numbers do they even out when you factor in taxes, health insurance, paid vaca time etc? Hard to say which is more lucrative with the variables, but, any insights?
