Some of you really only bill 17/1800 hours? Are you just busy doing non-billable work or you just don’t have enough work coming to you? If it’s because you don’t have enough work does that mean you have your evenings and weekends to yourself too? Could you maybe help the rest of us out who never get either?

Engagement ring questions!
1) Isn’t it weird to pick your own ring? I’m a big advocate of making the marriage decision together/against waiting for the man to “pop the question”/cheesy proposals, but I feel strange being involved in this process. It almost feels entitled and takes some of the romance away. Is it hypocrite of me? Of course I’d rather get my ideal ring than something I like less but still. How do you feel about it?
2) Why do the majority of Americans get diamond vs. other gems?

Dating and relationships have always been a struggle for me. Either the woman ghosts me after the first date or just a personality clash. Been married for five years and thing we’re going well but over the past two years everything is my fault and I do nothing right and get verbally abused so much at this point I do not know what side is up anymore. I know what needs to happen I’m just scared

I will be doing someheavy recruiting for Product Managers. Having a hard time with the existing team to persuade them that the uniqorns they are looking for dont exist. They are fixated that unless someone does not know to work agile or have tech specific experience they dont want to see them. Some of the questions also they have for candidates are an imitation of big corp companies like google, facebook etc. I am a big advocate on giving chances and trying to get through to them. Any ideas?

Someone recently asked me if I would have still chosen to be Christian if I hadn’t been born into a Christian family. Like, if I was born in Pakistan to a Muslim family and found out about Christianity later in life, would I have known it was the right path? It’s been shaking my faith, even though I don’t want it to…

How do you judge when to leave a company for something better if you never burn out or hate where you are?
My specific situation: 4 years out of undergrad with Slalom, I like my job/coworkers and am making solid money but am starting to be qualified for interesting/lucrative exit ops. Not trying to grass-is-always-greener myself out of a good thing and I'm in no rush to leave, but how do I know when it's time to take advantage of other opportunities? Hi friends, Got two offers. One with: Humana(Remote)[Insurance based company]and another with Mastercard(Hybrid) (Ofallon, MO)-need to relocate after 6 months. Both are for Senior software Engineer. Humana- TC= 155K, Mastercard-TC=175. Which is a better option, as talk are going on that, recession will happen soon. I’m confused to choose, as some say Insurance company doesn’t get effected with recession. Please suggest.

I'm looking to leave CrossCountry Consulting after two months. In the interview process, I believed them when they said they respect work-life balance, and now I have a manager who says 50 hours chargeable is what he expects on my project. Is it wrong to boomerang back to EY this fast? I’m not going to make it here a year.
