Got an offer from a start up and it’s lower cash comp then my current comp but they claim they are giving more equity. I’m not sure when company will ipo and actually value of RSU since they are a private company.. is it worth the risk to bet on late stage start up with rsu’s and lower cash comp?

Had a penultimate interview last Tuesday. An hour after the interview I got an email from HR saying they’re moving me forward in the interview process and to send some times for availability for another video interview this week.

Still haven’t heard back yet. I know it’s still a lull time of year and the end of this week is still the holidays, but would it be appropriate to follow back up tomorrow? Or should I just wait it out until after the new year?

Need some genuine career guidance: I have 10 yrs of exp. Have worked with two Big 4s mostly around Tech implementations / Business process consulting. Need to pivot into product companies (that old rehetoric) but not really sure in what role. TPM (Program) roles give PMO vibes. Don’t have any hard core skillset (only general Tech consulting). Few exit ops I am thinking about : Cloud (need to learn and get certified in a few if I plan go this route, DS (too late I now I guess?) any suggestions 🐟?

Any thoughts on food delivery tech as an exit? 160k, 10% bonus, 15% equity (average annual after considering 4 year vesting), 30k signon. Overall 10% cut excluding signon. Not people manager role
