I moved during the pandemic from Boston to Central New York. Super thankful that WFH and remote work in general has allowed me move sooner than planned and keep my job/seek new jobs that are remote. Being able to make a big life change and not have to consider adjusting my career outlook and/or salary expectations has been really wonderful.

Which FDD shops have the most toxic individuals/assholic attitude? Trying to avoid these like the plague if I ever hit the job market again.

We've transitioned to doing report at bedside with a small report allowed in the nurses room. I love it way more than I thought!

Looking for a one stop post house that can edit a graphically cool :30-:60 spot using stills & motion footage, while designing/integrating graphics/supers in an interesting way. Then take the video to finish: color, mix, VO recording, etc. Prefer NYC, but open to location. Any recommendations?

Is there any hope for strat/planning if I go with the money at MM?

I always wanted to be a planner but found myself in acc due to job availabilities and needing to pay rent. While a great account person is priceless, it’s just not me - unless I fake it and go against my nature. Now I’m a few years in and generally dislike my job because it’s schmoozing, pencil pushing, and not really producing. How can I make the pívot to strategy? Is a pívot even realistic? Should I just say fuck it and bear with things until going client side someday?

Any books, tips, or tricks that have helped you focus and really take in what you’re reading? I want to read for knowledge and deeper comprehension not just for understanding.
