He has not been able to replace me since I left in November. He is insisting on his EA being in the office 5 days per week. He's asked for a call with me to discuss what he can do to attract a solid EA. Besides me saying, "Please consider this as a hybrid role," what else can I tell him? What are your compelling reasons for wanting to be hybrid/remote?

I’m in the middle of an interview process for a senior consultant position at a top 10 consulting firm. I just got offered a promotion to engagement lead at my current consulting firm and a significant comp raise. Last year I brought up PMI’s salary survey when trying to negotiate a raise. I was told HR sees this as unreliable data because everyone who responded is incentivized to pad their income. Probably similar to what we hear when bringing up glassdoor salary research.
But wouldn’t it make the following true as well? 1) If you’re an ADP customer, like my company is, there’s a conflict of interest since they’d be incentivized to share data that benefits them. 2) HR is using data that confirms bias.
