Hello All, I’m new to this platform. Just wanted to have an idea. I was interviewed for contracting position at cognizant and cleared all the rounds but I dint hear back anything from them. Will this mean that they ghosted or will I get the feedback ? It’s been more than 3 weeks. Anybody who has been in this situation where you waited for the feedback or moved on rather than waiting?

Has anyone been black balled because of an ugly experience with a small boutique L&E firm? Looking to go to one of the big 4 but concerned that my boss will not speak well of me when I give notice and if he knows someone wherever I end up applying… mid-sized Rocky Mountain market.

Need some advice on how exactly to 'have multiple offers'. I am almost at the final rounds of 2 companies and mid/early stage of 3 companies. Salary discussion hasn't happened anywhere yet, but might happen anytime..
now if the nearly closing one rolls out the offer,
1. how do I gain time till i finish the interview rounds of oth companies?
2. Will the company expect to accept/decline the offer in 1-2 days?
3. How do you all usually stretch 1 offer acceptance till you secure more offers?
TIA

Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox. I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

I had a great initial interview with a peer of the hiring manager and received very positive feedback from the interviewer. Checked-in with recruiter the next day.

Recruiter: can we meet next week for just 15 mins?
Me: sure

I then had a look at the job posting and it was “no longer available”. But my application still shows as “under consideration”.

Tell me why this is nothing to worry about.

I did an initial interview with a firm Thursday morning. They asked for references and I provided them the following day along with my thank you note. In past experiences, I would have heard something by now unless they were not interested at all. Am I wrong to just write this one off?

I have passed the screening for BCG and McK, and will perform Casey and Imbellus respectively this weekend. Applied with 8 YOE in petrochemical industry. My question is about case interview preparation, I have been mainly practicing candidate-led style so far and don't have much info about interviewer-led approach that McK utilizes. Considering short time-frame to prepare, which strategy should I follow? Are these styles very different?

Interviewed for a GS-15 (same agency but different office) and totally aced the interview with excellent answers. They know I’m a top performer with senior references. However I noticed there was an internal candidate who has been there for few years and interviewed that’s a veteran. I feel my chances just sank and want to gauge thoughts.

Started looking at jobs in private accounting. I scored interviews for a Staff Accountant, Junior Accountant, and Accounting Assistant. I just finished interviewing for the Staff Accountant position which feels very much like AP/AR and Bank Recs to start, similarly to the other two positions. Does the title matter? I want to be able to grow but at the same time I want to make sure I’m moving up positions in my job search so I’m exposed to harder/higher level work.

Currently in ECM at an RBC/UBS/WF and have an offer to join a T2 Consulting firm's strongest group as an Associate (think LEK/OW/ATK). Non-target undergrad and no MBA (although may ultimately want to get one), and this would be a ~20% base salary decrease.

Looking for more varied strategic/operational experience and to develop a broader skillset as ECM has gotten repetitive and the exit opportunities are limited. No wife/kids/mortgage etc. so don’t mind travel. Thoughts?

I just started my job a month ago. It was my 2nd choice role at this company. I didn't realize the chaos I was walking into, and while it's not toxic (yet), I had hopes of more work life balance and an actual "belonging to a team" feel. I basically skipped onboarding and jumped right into working, boss skipped a huge working session I "led" but had no clue how to lead and I was put on the spot. Applying to a dream job but if I don't get it might keep browsing. Is leaving worth the consequences?

So I just had an interview at a small non-consulting firm (real estate lending) where the guy actually went on a political rant. First round interview, too.

Small firms are not what they're cracked up to be as far as work environment. They had a giant St. Bernard as a sort of "office mascot", you'd think they'd be chill and laid back. But it can also lead to breaches of professionalism that can make an office toxic if you're not cut from the same cloth as the owners...

What advise do you have moving forward with a career. I left my employer after18 yrs in June. my boss was laid off before covid, they didnt post his job for 2 years. I ran the site for that time, received many accolades. When it posted i got no interview. In June a company made an offer for same money for board director I took it. Turns out they were pitching lies. They had no integrity and were incompetent. I left this month. I haven’t been out of a job 25 years. How do I pick myself back up?

Imagine you're looking for a remote job at a large company with a sophisticated marketing function, strong manager, and room for growth. Making good traction, but then you're contacted by a company in a niche that FASCINATES you...like you read books about this subject for fun, you'd probably love this job. It's remote, the salary is good, the manager is nice, but you'd be the most senior marketing person; the company is about 200 people. What would you do?

I’ve applied to a position at a product vendor we’ve used for a long time. I have a great relationship with our the customer success team at the company. Would it be appropriate to ask them for a referral to the hiring manager?
