One day before vacation, I got an okay project review today. I am stressed out about finding a new job and performing better at my current job. I lost excitement for my vacation. Someone cheer me up!!
Working as an audit staff in big 4 shared service centre. It's been 2 years. I really don't like what I do there, also it seems I won't like what I'll be doing there even after becoming senior. Thinking of leaving and joining industry once ACCA qualified. (One more paper left). But people around me discourage that growth potential and earnings in industry are way less compared to public accounting. I know that too but I still want to leave. I'd like to stick to core accounting. Thoughts pls

I’m in consulting because in my undergrad business school culture it was either finance (non corporate) or consulting. Industry was seen as failure. I never gave it second thought. Anyone else?
Need some advice. I take home roughly 4k/month after taxes and IRA contributions (6% 401k and 3% Roth). My rent is around 900 and I usually spend 300-400 on my credit card. Cont...

What does a Mid level Art Director Salary in LA look like? Have an interview tomorrow wanting to know my worth on an in-house team?
My life's first interview after graduation in HR is for the Recruiter post in " Concentrix". I am a bit nervous because I don't wanna miss this opportunity so please my fellow seniors give me some tips and advice for my first interview. I will really appreciate that. Thank you
Told recruiter that my min salary expectation is $185k. As I’ve gotten to know more about the job, I’m less keen about it and need more $$ assurance. How do I handle this without pissing them off. Thx

My sister and I are 29 and 31, respectively. I’m struggling with something that has irked me our entire lives. My parents pay for things like her dog’s medical bills, vacations and moving expenses. They always want to help. The problem is they’ve never offered to pay for those things for me, and I’ve never asked because I’m a fully grown adult and don’t want them to spend their retirement on us. She has savings and isn’t struggling financially. Why does this bother me so much?
Currently double booked, and absolutely livid after a meeting to discuss my allocation and the Partner who keeps promising more and more of my time to his client had the audacity to look at me and tell me with a straight face that I need to learn to say no more. EVERT TIME I SAY NO YOU OVERRIDE ME AND SAY IT'S NOT THAT MUCH WORK AND WE JUST NEED TO GET IT DONE. Of course the two men just agreed that I needed to stop being so nice, as there was any kind of way for me to win here
Someone is conducting a job interview during breakfast in the Marriott lounge. Everyone can hear the questions/answers. It's for a sales job. This is weird.
Who are the best people at agencies to connect with if you're a Production Company looking to work with them? Is it Creative Directors, Is it Producers, Production Managers? Pre-Covid I would sit in lunch meetings with Production companies but really who would get those companies in the door and paid?
Looking to get a few certifications, I have worked in both IT and HR consulting and am trying to decide between ITIL, SHRM, and PMP. Any thoughts on which would be best for future, quickest to get, hardest test? I get the cert paid for and a bonus upon completion, so trying to decide which one to pursue or the order if I want multiple.
What monitor would you recommend for WFH situation assuming a IB/fund role? Know there is disagreement whether one wider monitor is better than dual smaller ones so would love to hear both perspectives. Some wider ones that have been recommended to me were Dell Ultrasharp 34 curved USB-C and Samsung Ultrawide 34
