I’m at a small tech company -
$7500 for tech roles
$2500 for non tech roles

Paid after 3 months.

like

We get $1500, open to everyone except those under the Talent Management umbrella

like

$2500: $1k on hire, $1,500 after hire’s 9 month anniversary.

like

$2500-10k depending on level. Paid at 90-180 days depending on level

like

$5000, paid out in 6 months if the employee that was referred is in good standing.

like

$1K per referral, payable after 90 days of employment. Sometimes it’s increased to 1500, 2K, or even 3K for key hires, as determined by the business.

like

$3k for all jobs except entry-level roles which is $1.2k. Gross amount via payroll of course. I’ve seen programs elsewhere where you offer a higher bonus on a particular, hard to fill position.

Got rejected from a job about 3 weeks ago. The agency just posted an opening for another job, same title and location as the one I was rejected from.

Is it worth reapplying? And if so, should I write a new cover letter or use the same one I applied with earlier?

Why do employers ask you to fill out a Word document job application during the interview process, even when you've applied online? I've got one for a job I really want and I'm heading into a final interview...but they want education and job/salary history, plus references, and it isn't a deal breaker but just curious as to why employers do this still.

Our company is working on our performance improvement/exit processes right now - and we were wondering if other companies include some sort of element of job preparedness prep for those who are being let go? If so, what does that look like for you? (for context, we do try to feel out if there are other parts of the organization that would better leverage the employee's strengths before we reach this point). Many thanks!

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
