Do I need to disclose that I was laid off during my new interviews? Or can I just say that I left my role and am looking for new opportunities for whatever reason? I fear that it will reflect poorly upon me - that I was among the low performers, am desperate and therefore can be lowballed for an offer, etc. Thoughts?

Hi! When’s the best time to negotiate? During the interview process or offer stage? (Assume 4 interviews, assume tech, assume that the interview process and offers is handled by the recruiting team, not the eventual manager). Would like to get your perspective. If helpful, negotiation is about a salary , or for working a four day week instead of five – in Europe which is normal.

Recruiters out there — is there such thing as over applying? Also, if you’ve interviewed with a company before and things didn’t move forward, does that company “cross you off forever” internally?

Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. Any insight on the interview process or how long it takes or any sort of idea to give me on what I could look for that might help me believe I might get an offer? Checked my online application again recently and still says “In Consideration”

My Shareholder came into my office yesterday and proceeded to tell me that "we" were getting sloppy & "we" needed to get our billable up and that she had missed things. She made a point to say hers were low & she never gave me info regarding billable time. Our biggest client cuts half our time.
During the interview they never mentioned there were billable req.
1 month ago she was singing my praises. Had been real sick last 2 months and went to HR re med accommodation and now this.

First day of 30mg vyvanse today. Had a rush of energy and hyperfocus (too much so) about 2-4 hours in, but had a complete crash 5hrs after taking the pill (just a wave of fatigue, felt very good after a quick 15min nap actually) and not sure if it had any effect after. Is this normal? Should I stick it out for a few days or is this a big sign that I’m not on the right meds/dose? Nervous to keep trialling this during the workday since a midday crash is not ideal. Texas 🐠 - what would you consider a good salary at a manager level in Texas? (Austin to be more specific). I’m currently in a HCOL city and I am negotiating my salary for a position in Austin but don’t want to aim too high because of what I’m currently used to and shoot myself in the foot for that. Am I the only one who has barely any work to do? I finish my work in a matter of a few hours, and spend my days bored out of my mind. Worst part is that I have to stay at the office until 8PM min, because otherwise it looks unprofessional. I fear that they want to fire me or that they’re unhappy with my work, but at every quarterly review, I have nothing but praise with minor comments. I realise I’m lucky, but can’t help but feel guilty, like a fraud and bored.
