From the article,
With the British pound retreating to record lows against the US dollar, a steel Rolex GMT-Master II that sells for $11,289 in the US can be purchased for $9,293 in the UK with US dollars, a discount of 18%, according to WatchPro. A 41mm diameter Datejust model can be bought in the UK for $7,088 in US dollars, a discount of 19% compared to US retail.
This might be my new daily. 36mm is so comfy.
Is my purchase history not good enough?

Yes. I’m a huge fan. Never buy it new. Can get under a thousand. I have their GSAR. Great watch. Built like a tank
Huge fan! I bought the GSAR anthracite new from Long Island Watch (authorised dealer) last month at approx 15% below MSRP. I also have the original Marathon SAR from 2005 that I bought pre-owned a few years ago. The watches are built like tanks and are truly iconic. Great history, great pedigree, and the tritium based lume makes them unique. Marathon are one of the only companies that still supply military / tactical watches to the armed forces globally (US, Canada, Israel). A great addition to any watch collection!
For those who criticise Marathon, the only article they will ever need to read...from one of our brave servicemen talking about his experience of wearing the GSAR on his deployments to Iraq. IMO, for those looking to add military watches to ones collection, Marathon has to top the shortlist.

The CSAR is a 46mm watch, just FYI...
