Join EY PCS, they always need people. Be careful with FSO, they work non-stop.

I would but I’m in Bay Area office and it’s frankly too big for the work I’m looking for

I worked at Andersen before B4. If you want personal tax, you’ll get it there. Good experience and some very knowledgeable partners if you find the right ones. I would say that the hours are just as bad there as B4, maybe slower in the down times but even busier in the busy times from my experience. I would still recommend the firm though.

We are also hiring! Hours prob better I’d think 🤷🏻‍♀️ but who knows it’s public accounting

I worked at Andersen before switching to KPMG. They have a great PCS group if you’re interested in personal tax exposure.

Appreciate your insight a lot!! Targeting the Dallas office right now so hope all goes well and I’ll definitely keep your responses in mind.

To what extent is it recommended to write about health issues in app additional info section to mitigate low GPA? What type of health issues should be specified vs. what types are seen as excuses? What amount of detail should one provide? Do schools ask for proof?

After you’ve connected with a consultant on LinkedIn what’s the best practice for asking someone to give you a practice case? To balance respect someone’s time vs coming off as transactional. Should you first ask for coffee chat, then later a case or can you ask for a case in your first “chat”? I am prepping for MBB interviews but I know consultants work crazy hours so I don’t want to take up more time than necessary - what would you prefer? What is the best practice?
