Anyone work at Chick-fil-A? They seem pretty nice from the outside but do they actually have a good work environment?

Yes, Chick fila A is probably one of the nicest places I've had the pleasure (pun intended) to work at. It obviously has its flaws, like any other workplace, but for the most part they treat employees with respect and they pay tends to be slightly more competitive than other fast food places. Also, there's something about the customer base that is so much nice than other restaurants

Not at the moment, but I've worked there in the past. The work environment seems good because they have really high standards to every aspect of their business. Their interviews are very selective since they're looking for people who can live up to their rep for hospitality and productivity. Seems kinda crazy, but they don't want to hire just anyone. That being said, the employees aren't acting nice out of happiness but because they're instructed to be that way by corporate. Do you need help this, my pleasure that it's all drilled during training

Yeah it is pretty good to work here. I wouldn't be saying my pleasure and all that if it wasn't mandated but I am grateful to work somewhere where management and my coworkers have fairly positive outlooks. I'd say their hiring practices raise the standards enough so that the work environment is healthier than average

Good work environement, competent leadership for most locations, hiring with higher standards, clear expectations. They do a lot of things right there that increase their quality in every regard

I've worked at a few different fast food joints and by far my best experience was with Chick fil A. I can't speak to any other locations but co workers were all pretty happy with how they were treated and management was respectful of everyone.
