I haven’t worked in every field but it seems like not all bosses have the expectations of bowing and scraping that law firm partners do. The fact that they review me at the end of the year but I don’t get to review them seems unbalanced (besides the fact that they’re paying me, which makes it all worth it, just not forever).

Have any beside nurses attempted to transfer to an outpatient/care coordinator position? Did you get a pay cut? Was it worth it? Any regrets? Cost of living is crazy these days. I got offered a position and the cut was 8 dollars less per hour. I felt offended. I was basically a new grad salary.

I was just offered an RN II position at Stanford Hospital’s B3 unit for $84/hour. Are there any RNs out there who can tell me what it’s like working on the unit and if it’s worth leaving my job for? I love my current job, my schedule and the people. I have no problems with it except that it’s 1.5 hours away from my family and it pays $25/hour less than Stanford.

I would like to transfer my career to Healthcare Data Analytics. I’m gaining my data analytics certification by the ending of November.
