What salary I can expect in Tech Mahindra for AWS Architect role with 8 yoe. I have cleared the technical round and HR discussion is scheduled and how is the job security and work life balance in Tech Mahindra.

I’m finding that a weird side effect of losing my job in this climate is ad agencies taking advantage of my weakened position. They get in touch, proactively or in response to my reaching out, and they want to hire me as they are in good shape. When I reveal I was laid off, the offer changes to freelance or maybe nothing. My work, awards, the fact that they know me and approached me in the first place should be enough. I don’t want to lie about my situation. Any ideas how to avoid this?

Quarantine may result in me losing my job, but not for the same reasons as many other associates. Moved across the country and started a new job the day after stay-at-home orders hit. Most people were already out of town and low on communication. I’m applying to tax jobs in a high COL area and am currently living in a low COL area. I plan to stay in the low COL area and work remotely until offices open back up which won’t happen this year. As I’m interviewing and negotiating salary, I want to be reasonable and fair. Should I negotiate 2 salaries, a lower salary for the time I work remotely in a low COL area and then a higher salary for when I relocate to the high COL area?
