I just make a career transition from recruiting to Org Development at a consulting firm 6 months ago. Hey nurses, did you become a CNA first? Or go straight into a nursing program? My cousin wants to become a nurse and, I'm going to be totally frank here, I don't think he can hack it. I recommended that he maybe do his CNA first to get a taste for it, but he's insisting he's prepared to nursing. Part of me is worried because a lottttt of people in my cohort in school were regularly partying and doing hard subs (was this the same for others??), and my cousin is susceptible to peer pressure.

I'm currently working for a startup that has been unable to pay us for 2ish months while they are trying to secure investor funding. They said they will back pay us and (we're working much fewer hours) and they were reaching into their personal savings for months before and never took a salary.
