Anyone have attorneys working for their startup in non attorney roles. If so what positions should I be looking at. Not enjoying the practice of law but also have no experience with startups. Would I need to learn to code to get a job in say project management?

Question: ID, auto accident case, uncooperative client. I have tried multiple phone calls, texts, letters, emails, and sent an investigator out. I can’t get the client to respond / cooperate. I have discovery due and his depo coming up. What else can I do to try to reach him?

My firm’s IT (especially system saving and file locating function) is so bad 😐😞 and they keep doing updates no one asked them for just to mess with the stuff we already got a hang of without doing anything about the issues we actually need fixed. Anyone else in a similar boat? Do you bill the client for the time it takes to fix the IT issue (or IT inefficiency generally, like time taken to find a file in a convoluted system)? Or is that supposed to be our non-billable time?
